NOW SERVING LOS ANGELES
I’m so sorry to everyone who had RSVP’d to see me in LA at Now Serving. Make sure to pick up one of the signed books they have in stock!
My car is on the fritz, again. I had to take it into the shop, where it still sits, waiting for its diagnosis. I’m holed up in Sacramento for the time being. When Delta canceled my flight, they automatically put me on another flight that would have gotten me in town at 11AM. The time the event was supposed to start. I tried to find another flight on another airline and everything was just to expensive! So, the owners of Now Serving suggested they push the event back a few hours. By the time I went back to the flight Delta put me on, it had been an hour, the flight was already overbooked! Delta had no other affordable flights that would have gotten me from SMF to LAX in time. I’m sorry, I don’t have $1,000 to purchase a last minute ticket! I just barely paid down my debt from the GMA trip! There are no directs from SMF to BUR; anyone want to take a 9 hour flight from Sacramento to Burbank by way of a 7 hour layover in Vegas? I tried, y’all.
