Thanks to everyone who came out to the Cookbook Festival and watched me discover that I can sweat from my tear ducts. Literally, I was crying tears of sweat. I don’t like to come outside, but when I do, I’m reminded how much fun it can be.

I’m not cooking. It’s too hot and I’m too tired. However, I will use the air fryer until it begs for mercy or catches on fire. Whichever comes first. Here’s a recipe for something I just came up with where you’d think I’d be stoned, but I don’t do that anymore and so now what? I was watching tiktok and saw someone make a katsu sandwich, where they actually pounded the pork cutlet thin, breaded and fried it? But, they made this quick Katsu sauce and I was like…why not make the whole thing quicker by using a frozen chicken patty that’s already breaded?
