“Here Are the Fall 2022 Cookbooks Chefs and Cooks Will Love:” Diasporican gets reviews by industry publication, Plates.
“Give me an order of tostones con ajo;” On creolized Chinese restaurants: One of my followers alerted me that I had been cited in the Bibliography of this article. It’s about how “Chinese restaurants open discussions about the diaspora, adaptation, urban spaces and the local economy in Puerto Rico.” Check it out.
Publisher’s Weekly: Another industry publication reviews Diasporican.

Thanks to all of my followers, friends and supporters for representing during the roll out of my Sazon and Adobo spices! It’s crazy to think that just a little adobo blend that I had been making on my own could be available to most of the world. But, it’s also crazy to think that we even have to think of things like salt and spices in a different way. It makes me want to go down the rabbit hole and research the history of how Goya’s sazon came to be, but they’re usually tight-lipped with their information.
Anyway, thanks again. I really appreciate it so much!
Don’t forget that my pre-orders for my book are still going! And it’s just as important as it was when I announced it last week.
I'm hella bad at social media, but I got my B&B adobo & sazon Friday and grilled up some mojo tofu and pork chops for the fam this weekend. Couldn't get pics before they were all eaten but massive thumbs up from vegans and carnivores alike. (Also, it was sooo nice to be able to make mojo without worrying about my blood sugar, blood pressure, or wife's msg allergy...thanks for helping us disabled folks who love food out!)
And now the fun begins HAHA! 🙂 I'm really excited to see things happening for you. And TRUST. Those spice blends are going into rotation for us. Now if I can just get the spouse to make more sofrito. 😄🤦🏿♂️
