This single 24 hour Mexican drive thru specific to California has brought in more than millions of dollars in annual revenue. It’s also changed the landscape of California cuisine, creating a regional variation called Cali-Mex. Without the growth and popularity of this taqueria, we may have never known Rolled Tacos, Carne Asada Fries, Carne Asada Nachos or the California Burrito (carne asada and french fries stuffed into a cartoonishly large flour tortilla).
